We have some new additions to the EOL List for 2021, and they will come as no surprise. LEGO now intends to retire the LEGO Seasonal Chinese New Year Sets that initially released on 1/1/2021. The two sets that will be retiring will be the LEGO Seasonal The Story of Nian (80106) and the Spring Lantern Festival (80107). Luckily enough, both sets are available both on Amazon and on Shop@Home. These sets have been problematic to acquire for most of 2021, which is a common theme that we've seen with LEGO sets as a whole, so it's not clear for how much longer you'll be able to scoop these two sets up.
Upon request, we've created a full compilation of all the supposed retirees for 2021, that we know of so far.
If you missed the previous article, the information sourced here is garnered as a result of contacting major manufacturers to confirm whether or not they'll be getting more of these sets in stock, or when their orders for these specific products will end. That being said, just because the major retailers will no longer be getting them doesn't mean that Shop@Home won't be carrying them going forward.
