Thanks to Promobricks and Stonewars blogs, we now have the first few details on which LEGO Harry Potter sets will be coming in 2023. So far, the first half of 2023 will be bringing us 12 new LEGO Harry Potter sets. LEGO will be releasing a new sub-theme that is targeted at Adult Collectors which will feature buildable House Banners for Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. The buildable LEGO Harry Potter House Banner sets will range from roughly 300 to 400 parts and will retail between $34.99-$39.99 (USD), and will also include three LEGO Minifigures each—most likely recognizable characters from each respective house. All four sets are slated for a March 1st release date.
Beyond the new buildable LEGO Harry Potter House Banner sets, we'll also be getting a few rehashes of past Harry Potter sets. There's news of an updated LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Room of Requirement (76413), which at a piece count of 587, should be about three times the size of 2020's Hogwarts Room of Requirement (75966), and there's also going to be a remake of the Goblet of Fire's Black Lake Triwizard Challenge (76420), which will only contain 349 parts and will feature five new Minifigures. Most likely, we'll get a Harry Potter, Ronald Weasely, Hermione Granger, and maybe a few merpeople to go along with it. I don't suspect it'll feature any of the other Triwizard Champions because it wouldn't make sense to feature one and not the other.
As for sets 76414-76419, no additional information has been made available at this time, but it is suspected that set 30651 will be some type of Gift With Purchase (GWP) given away on March 1st, most likely with the release of the first wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets.
