There are unconfirmed first reports of the upcoming LEGO City releases for Winter 2020/2021season. A lot of the sets sound very familiar, reminiscent of the standard LEGO City Police and Fire Line of products that get rehashed every year or so. Some of the most notable sets are the rumored LEGO City Crossroad with Traffic Lights (60304) and the LEGO City Skate Park (60290) ~ 195 pieces/$29.99—nice deviations from what we normally get in the LEGO City Theme.

The only thing I see an issue with is the continued price-gouging for non-licensed LEGO Themes, with a lot of the sets coming in with a PPP (price-per-piece) ratio significantly higher than the standard ¢10/piece we're used to. The most notable of which is the LEGO City Fire Truck (60280) set, which—if the piece count is accurate—comes to a whopping ¢22/piece. I suspect this may be a LEGO Juniors set, or may have some new larger pieces that account for the cost increase, but we'll have to wait and see when the official announcement comes later this year.
